After 9 years of beating the hell out of our old 1000hp manual Go-Power Dynometer, we decided it was time to upgrade - due in part that our average motor these days makes at least 1000hp. Our old room was too small and did not have sufficient airflow to provide the consistency we felt was needed. Starting from scratch, we constructed a new dyno room with an exhaust fan that turns-over the air in the room 20 TIMES PER MINUTE!

After much deliberation, we decided on the machine that would be put in place. We purchased a DTS Power Mark Dyno, capable of grabbing 2000hp pulls for 24 hours continuous and can flash 3000HP PULLS (we need this capability with some of our current projects)!

DTS is has built a reputation for their extremely repeatable dynos. In fact, the Jeg's Engine Master Series uses DTS as their official dyno. Another deciding factor is the DTS machine's ability to grab tremendous torque in the lower RPM range - a rare trait among dynos. For example, when recently conducting a dyno pull on one of our monsters, we grabbed 1300ft lbs at 3500rpm - INCREDIBLE!

In order to be the best at what we do, it is absolutely crucial that we have these resources to perfect our craft and find ways to make more and more power. This dyno facility is bringing NRE to a higher level of power and reliablity. We can test indivdual exhaust gas temperatures, air fuel rations, record oil temp, boost, coolant - you name it: we do it. In addition, for our fuel injected motors, the dyno has the ability to hold any motor at any rpm due to its unique mapping ability - a huge advantage for developing fuel curves on new engines.
